Achieving Your #Potential

Natalie Forest

For this month, Mitchell Levy (@HappyAbout), The AHA Guy at AHAthat (http://AHAthat.com), is joined by #ThoughtLeader Natalie Forest (@NatalieForest), one of America’s leading experts in personal performance and founder of Success Revolutions and Revolutionize Your Potential (http://natalieforest.com). The month’s episodes focus on the general concept of achieving your potential. Natalie advocates that you need to believe in yourself and embrace your potential. She also shared the 3P’s that will lead you to leading Your Life, Your Way: Purpose, Passion, and Potential. She believes in the saying, “The only thing that can stop you is yourself.” For her, people will never get satisfied and achieve their potential if they are always into the idea of comparing themselves to others.

Jeff Magee

In the final episode (143), Mitchell and Natalie are joined by ##ThoughtLeader Jeff Magee (@DrJeffSpeaks), human capital developer and publisher of Professional Performance Magazine (http://JeffreyMagee.com).  For Jeff, our true potential starts with our intellectual property—that which makes us unique. We can achieve our potential by using our intellectual properties and sharing them in a way that benefits other people. He also points out that if we focus on the mirror of the past instead of facing the windshield of future opportunities, we will never achieve our potential.

Achieving your full potential is about committing yourself to the process of self-improvement, not a single task. It is about defining the best version of yourself and being the best person you can be. It’s important to know yourself first. What are your strengths and weaknesses? Is there anything that you’d like to do or accomplish? Be specific. The more specific you are, the easier it is to achieve your goals and define success. Begin your journey and work out your goals every day. Sail your own ocean now, you’ll never know what you might find!
